
Recycle Bin contains soft-deleted records that can be restored. This protects operations from accidental deletion and allows administrators to recover data without manual database work.

Administration → Enterprise → Recycle bin
What you see on this page
Left panel (filters)
Search: locate deleted records by name/identifier.
Type selector (e.g., Categories): choose which entity type to view (categories, items, partners, etc., depending on your build).
Pagination size (e.g., 10 per page)
Recycle bin table (main area)
Name: record name (e.g., Soft Drinks, Household Cleaners)
Identifier: system code (e.g., CAT-xxxxx)
Deleted: deletion date/time
Deleted by: user responsible (may show “None” if unavailable)
Primary: indicates category type (Primary/Subcategory) when viewing categories
Actions: Restore

Restore: returns the record to active data so it can be used again.
Typical workflow (restore a deleted category)
Select Categories from the type dropdown.
Find the category by name or identifier.
Click Restore.
Confirm the category reappears in the Categories list as active/available (depending on your system rules).

Restoring a record typically restores its relationships where possible (e.g., category hierarchy), but behavior depends on your configuration.
Use Recycle Bin instead of re-creating records to preserve historical links and reports.
