The Movement log is the operational ledger for all inventory movements. It records inbound and outbound transactions in one place, allowing you to search, filter, export, and print movements for auditing and daily work.
What you see on this page (main area)
Movement table columns (as shown):
Reference: Unique identifier for the movement document.
Type: Inbound (receiving) or Outbound (issuing).
Partner: The customer or supplier associated with the movement.
Items: Number of distinct items/lines in the movement.
Date / Time: When the movement was recorded.
Quantity: Total moved quantity (sum of lines).
Actions: View, print, edit, or related actions (depending on your permissions/configuration).
Empty state (when no movements exist yet):
Quick actions: “Receiving (inbound)” and “Issuing (outbound)”
Top-right actions:
Export: Export movement data (format depends on your system settings, commonly CSV/Excel/PDF).
Print: Print a movement report/log for documentation.
Quick workflow (first movement)
Click Receiving (inbound).
Select supplier (or add one from the setup checklist).
Add items and quantities.
Save/post the movement.
The Movement log will list the document with reference, totals, and partner.
Notes & best practices
Use inbound movements to increase on-hand, outbound movements to decrease on-hand.
Keep partner selection accurate for traceability (supplier for inbound, customer for outbound).
Export is recommended for monthly audits and sharing with accountants or warehouse teams.
