How inventory quantities work

Typical workflow (day-to-day)

  1. Use Search or filters to locate an item quickly (SKU, barcode, or name).

  2. Use Low / Out tabs to identify replenishment needs.

  3. Add new items as your catalog grows (Add inventory item).

  4. Use Movements to receive or issue stock, then return to Inventory to confirm updated on-hand.

Troubleshooting

Navigation to item details
Click the item name in the table to open the Item Details view (documented next). This view provides a complete snapshot of the item (SKU, barcode, category, unit, reorder point, and on-hand status) and includes the item’s Movement History, where you can review all inbound and outbound transactions, filter by date/type/partner, and export or print the item’s movement log for auditing.
