The Category Details screen is the drill-down view for a single category. It shows the items within that category, their identifiers (barcode/SKU), unit, reorder point, on-hand quantity, and stock status. It also provides category-level summary metrics (inventory count, units on hand, low stock, out of stock).

Notes & best practices
Use Category Details as a live “mini-report” for each category—especially helpful for departments like Cleaning Supplies, Beverages, Spare Parts, etc.
If an item shows Out of stock, you must record a Receiving (inbound) movement to increase on-hand (inventory is movement-driven).
Keep categories clean and consistent; too many overlapping categories reduces reporting value.
