
The System section contains the core configuration that controls how Stockra looks and behaves globally. It is the place to manage branding, enabled languages, printer profiles, and maintenance/updates. Administrators use this area to keep the UI consistent, configure output devices, and maintain the installation lifecycle (version, install date, updates).

What you see on this page
System summary (left panel)
Current version: installed application version.
Installed on: installation date.
Last update: most recent update date.
Languages count: number of available/enabled languages.
Default language: the active system default.
Printers count: number of configured printer profiles.
Default printer: the default printer profile used by the system (where applicable).
Configuration cards (main area)
Purpose: Add/manage languages, enable/disable them, and choose the default language.
Shows: Languages count and Default language.
Purpose: Manage printer profiles used for reports, receipts, and operational printing.
Shows: Printers count and Default printer.
Purpose: Administrative maintenance tasks such as deployments, backups, and rollbacks (depending on your system configuration).
Shows: Current version, Installed on, Last update.
Purpose: Define the system identity and visual style.
Displays key branding fields:
System name
System color (theme/accent)
Font (typography)
Logo/Icon (brand mark)
Typical workflow (recommended order)
Set Branding first (system name, logo, colors, font) to match your company identity.
Configure Languages and set the default language for your team.
Configure Printers and set a default printer for operational outputs.
Use Maintenance Center for system updates and administrative maintenance tasks when required.
Notes & best practices
Branding changes affect the look of the entire interface and may also appear in exported/printed assets depending on your configuration.
Keep the default language aligned with your staff’s primary working language.
Use named printer profiles (e.g., “Receipt Printer”, “Label Printer”, “Report Printer”) to avoid printing to the wrong device.
